ATR - Day 50: Saw Baras with her cubs on both morning and evening safaris; no Vlog today
Today was a way better day in terms of sighting, for we saw Baras as well as her cubs, who played around among themselves and with their mother to their heart’s content.

We were looking for Baras with her cubs yesterday, and had indeed found Baras but not the cubs to our utter disappointment, which was completely undone and replaced with delight when we finally got to see Baras with her cubs today. And we got to see them for a long time as they played with each other happily and then some with their mother, like happy little pups. I got to capture their several rounds of fun and frolic on camera in both stills as well as video. Baras kept sitting for a while even after her cubs ran away playing among themselves. Baras is called that because a pattern on her forehead looks like the numeral twelve. I did get some very pretty shots but since there was tree between me and her, some of the frames did not turn out as well.
In the evening safari, I met Sudhir Sir (Mr. Sudhir Shivram), and had a pretty long discussion with him on various things. The Vlog for today (to be released in a couple of days) would feature footage of the discussion with him. In the evening safari also we got to see Baras and had the opportunity of clicking her.
Today, Harsh, our editor, was not feeling well at all, and I was on the safari for the entire day, today’s Vlog has not been uploaded. We’ll make up for it tomorrow. That’s it for now.
