I left to witness Geminid meteor shower soon after the midnight today, as I had indicated in yesterday’s newsletter. I had not planned for it and for that reason we did not have enough warm clothes to lie overnight under the open sky the whole night with dew descending. Although the meteor shower was fun it watch, there were not many good pictures clicked for reasons completely outside our control. And it was extremely cold with lots of dew descending from the sky. By morning, I was shivering with cold, but stayed until there was not much to shoot. So we decided to leave at about 5:30 AM or so.
Our place of stay in North Goa was about an hour and half from the place we had gone for the meteor shower in South Goa. So we were back to our local residence at about 7:30 AM. I was too tired to do anything but sleep, so I did just that.
After sleeping through most of the day, I got up in the late afternoon. We started working on the Vlog, and towards the evening we decided to visit a church that had been recommended to us for its architectural beauty as well as cultural and historical significance. So we paid a visit to the church briefly before leaving for the Morjim beach to shoot the starry sky. There was not much to make great pictures there, but it was great being there. And no Olive Ridleys still.
In today’s Vlog, we see the unseen side of Goa that most people do not know about. In this Vlog, you get to see the blue-eared kingfisher of the Western Ghats and also Do check.
