After having shot hornbills for an entire day, it was time for us to move to our next destination — Munnar. So we left Nelliyampathy today and came to Munnar for some macro wildlife photography because Munnar is considered particularly good for macro. We have this tendency to not let any wildlife photography opportunity slip, which is one of the reasons why ATR travel has taken much longer than we had expected and planned for. I often think of arresting such tendencies but time and again I let the temptation take the upper hand, and we end up spending much longer in one place than planned or necessary for the purpose of ATR. The same is the case with Munnar. We are here to click little organisms as up-close as possible and lay the photographic result of the endeavour before all our viewers.
Much of the day was spent traveling from Nelliyampathy to Munnar. Now we have checked into Club Mahindra Munnar, which has better accommodation than we have generally found at most placed during ATR. So it’s now time for some editing and resting. Let’s see what we find tomorrow.
I'm glad you cover all kinds of wildlife, not just tigers. Your whole ATR trip will be a treasure trove of both inspiration and information for nature enthusiasts like me
